Terms & Conditions
When booking VLT Secretarial Services full details of the Terms & Conditions will be forwarded along with your Service Specification containing an estimate of costs and details of your work requirements. This can be e-mailed, faxed or posted to you and must be returned with a signature prior to the commencement of any work and for retainer packages before commencement of the first monthly assignment.
This will constitute the customers agreement with VLT Secretarial Services full Terms & Conditions.
An extract of VLT Secretarial Services Terms & Conditions:
1. The customer is wholly responsible for the final proofreading of any completed work before it is utilised in any way. VLT Secretarial Services can accept no responsibility for any consequential loss. Any proofreading errors notified within 24 hours will be rectified free of charge. However, we can accept no responsibility for errors found after the assignment is delivered to the customer but will correct any found and notified to us within 7 days of receipt of the completed assignment. We reserve the right to make a small charge for this service.
2. VLT Secretarial Services reserves the right to return any work which we believe to be inappropriately supplied. VLT Secretarial Services also reserves the right to reject any material which we believe to be offensive, immoral or illegal.
3. All material supplied by the customer via e-mail attachment or disc will be scanned to prevent computer viruses. VLT Secretarial Services will not open any unsolicited e-mails with attachments or e-mails without messages to the attachments. Back up copies of customer files will be kept for a period of 6 months, after which time they will be deleted. It is highly recommended that all original documentation is sent by courier or registered post to avoid loss.
4. VLT Secretarial Services will maintain customer confidentiality at all times, and will not pass any information to a third party without the express permission of the customer. VLT Secretarial Services agrees to sign any non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement as required by the customer.
5. Payment for all postage for customers will be charged at cost and will be required in advance of carrying out work. Payments must be received in UK pounds sterling and can be made by BACS, cash(local area only), paypal or cheque (made payable to VLT Secretarial Services).
